What makes 1587 shirts and hoodies premium?
It's all about the FABRIC. Most tees on the market use thin crappy 4oz cotton—1587 shirts use heavyweight 6.5–8oz cotton that feels substantial the moment you throw it on.
That means better drape, longer life, and a look that holds its shape wear after wear. No more "sausage" look when you put on a shirt!
Why is Heavy Cotton important in shirts and hoodies?
We use heavyweight cotton that holds its shape, feels amazing, and flatters every body. Also say goodbye to massive shrinkage after washing. It’s expensive—but we took lower margins to make the pieces we actually want to wear.
How much do the shirts shrink?
Barely. 1587 apparel uses high weight cotton that naturally resists shrinking, so what you see is what you keep. Just wash cold, dry low, and you’re good. No surprises in the laundry.
How do they fit—should I size up or down?
We have two cuts: traditional and baggy/boxy. For boxy cut, size down for a more tradional look. All our sizes are in mens, so women should size down.
How fast is shipping and where do you ship?
We ship domestically across the U.S. w/ USPS and UPS. Most orders go out in 24 hours!
What is your return/exchange window?

Your choice to get a refund (minus shipping) or store credit. For items past return window, we always make it right and take care of you!

Ha absolutely not! We make the world's greatest casual sneakers and tell authentic AAPI stories, while giving back to the AAPI community! We use the same factories as Gucci and Prada but take the bare minimum margin.

1587 is the year Asians arrived in America. We want to remind people we have been here for 400+ years and we aren't going anywhere!
